| Tight Table |
| Introduction: A table qualifies as a Tight table when very few players see the Flop. It will be rare to have more than 2 players on the Flop, and a Showdown is very rare. Your best option would be to leave this table: not a lot of money can be won here. But if you don't have that option you have to adjust your play. You should try steal the blinds more often. Bluffing is more important in Tight games than in any other game with a full table. Bluffing on the Flop or the Turn and even the River can be very profitable, if you are able to pick the right moment. You will almost never have the correct odds to play drawing hands. However, most players at a Tight table show too much respect for your hands. A good Loose Aggresive player can do really well at a Tight table. |
